Who loves John and Edward? It seems everyone does, I am not sure what this dynamic duo have but they were so bad on Saturdays show it was hard to take your eyes off them!

I just loved there red PVC suit this week and the timing well … was there any??? Lets hope they stay in a little longer because they are always worth a giggle!
An unusual look into 1966 and the boutiques which inhabited London which gives us this unique insite into the small Boutique Annacat & Co.

Annacat & Co
23 Pelham Street, S.W.7
That this is a boutique of quality probably springs from the fact that the young owners, Janet Lyle and Maggie Keswick, both work in their shop and design all their clothes.
Their stock is big for such a delightful small shop (the stockroom and office is on a balcony) long evening, cocktail, after 5 and day dresses, trouser, culotte and cat suits, skirts, handbags, hats, stockings, evening and day coats belts and jewellery.
Since they opened in November 1965 a long line of distinguished customers have visited South Kensington to find ANNACAT & CO: they have heard about the full linings, the finish and all - round originality of the clothes, which range in price from fully lined dresses at 9 guineas to grand occasion dresses at 50 guineas. Don’t miss ANNACAT & CO if you are looking for something special, or if your name is Eliza Doolittle and you want an inexpensive yet wholly effective transformation.

This wondrous small establishment must have been a cool place to browse through in the sixties, today you rarely find
an Annacat dress, and we have found Vintage-a-peel the best place to find out more on this quaint boutique and also pick up an Annacat beauty for your own collection.

Browsing the pages of Ebay this morning we fell upon a fantastic dress! It is what we can only describe as an absolute stunner, a dress that is a collector’s must have. This amazing little dress would be a fabulous dress for this summer. We can only hazard a guess what sort of price is expected for this little beauty.
Ossie Clark born in Liverpool and one of Britain top 1960’s and 70’s fashion designers, creating clothes for the rich and famous with stars such as Marianne Faithful, Mick and Bianca Jagger, Marie Helvin, Goldie Hawn, Ali McGraw, Elizabeth Taylor and Faye Dunaway whilst regular photo shoots were gracing the pages of Vogue with models such as Twiggy and Jean Shrimpton in his finest designs.

His marriage to Celia in 1969 was a partnership made in design heaven, with her sublime prints adorning his most exquisite creations. Ossie Clark designed freelance for several boutique such as Radley and Quorum in the 60s and 70s also teaming up with Alice Pollock at Quorum. This is a dress with both Ossie’s amazing design skills plus the use of Celia’s textile prints that made them world renowned for British cutting edge design.
Ossie Clarks dresses are highly sort after in the vintage clothing market and worn by celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Jessica Simpson, Gerry Haliwell and collected by Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. We adore this dress and hope it goes to a good home!
