Vintage Coats

Fashionistas are turning to a vintage coat because they are often made of higher quality materials, wash better and of course, simply look divine because it would be very rare to find two vintage coats the same from a top quality designer such as Mary Quant, Dior or Valentino.

Opera coats are quite tricky to find - but these gorgeous vintage items from the 1950s are beautiful and are in vogue at the minute and there of course the rare bikers jackets of the 50s that are made from premium leather. Moving on to the 60s, there are numerous PVC rain coats, princess coats, capes and macs that are really cheap to buy - not be the most comoftable to wear but they sure do turn heads with their unique look. The 60s also brought us the MOD and Teddyboy jackets.

For tapestry coat and maxi coat lovers the 70s were a decade full of these types of clothing - as was the 1980s which had the wonderful bomber jackets, denim jackets, parker coats and Boyfriend jackets.
